摘  要：In the setting of Clifford analysis, we consider the scattering of 
time-harmonic acoustic waves by an inhomogeneous medium contained in a 
domain with compact support. The problem is characterized in terms of the 
Dirac operator using a factorization of the Helmholtz equation. Furthermore 
we derive an appropriate radiation condition and show that the solution of 
the scattering problem is equivalent to a solution of the Lippmann-Schwinger 
integral equation. To guarantee the existence and uniqueness of the solution 
we need the unique continuation principle.
