摘   要: In this talk, I will provide a high-level overview of the GRAphics Vision Technology laboratorY (GRAVITY) lab at the University of Kentucky. The central theme of the GRAVITY lab is the acquisition and visualization of real-world 3D environment.  I will present images and videos from our recent projects, including enhanced depth sensing,  Human-subject modeling, and urban scene modeling and understanding.

ShortBio:

Ruigang Yang is an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky (UKy). He received his PhD degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. His research interests include computer vision, computer graphics, and image processing. He has published over 100 papers which have received over 3000 citations. He received the NSF CAREER award in 2005 and UKy’s College of Engineering Research Award in 2013. He is an Associate Editor of Machine Vision and Application and IEEE Transactions on Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI).
