摘要: Determining string theoretical quantum corrections to low energy effective actions is important for moduli stabilization, cosmology and particle phenomenology. The non-holomorphic Kahler potential is typically the least well understood quantity in a given N = 1 supersymmetric effective action derived from a string compactification, as it is not protected against any perturbative corrections. We evaluate string one-loop contribution to the Kahler metric of open as well as closed string moduli in toroidal type II orientifolds with D-branes, focusing on the poorly understood N=1 sectors that receive contribution from all massive string states.
First, we consider open string moduli (D-brane moduli) in type IIA orientifolds with D-brane at angles and then move on to the closed string moduli in type IIB orientifolds.
