摘要: In this introductory talk we introduce the fluid limits from the Boltzmann equation. Starting from the microscopic level equation---Boltzmann equation, its solutions, the so-called DiPerna-Lions solutions, under various physical scaling, can be proved to converge to the solutions of macroscopic level equations--- fluid equations, such as Navier-Stokes equations, Euler equations, etc. It is a part of the Hilbert 6th problem.
