摘要:In the first part, We introduce the Camassa-Holm equation as one of shallow water model, and compare it with other models. In the second part, we apply geometric singular perturbation theory to show the persistence of solitary wave under small KS type perturbation to the Camassa-Holm equation with non vanishing linear dispersion. In the third part, we show non persistence of peaked soliton in case of vanishing linear dispersion.
