Abstract：In this talk, firstly I will give a brief introduction to Ginzburg- Landau equations, then I will focus on a two-component Ginzburg- Landau model in the following two settings: 1. For the model without magnetic field, existence, uniqueness, asymptotic behavior of solutions at infinity, monotonicity and stability will be presented. 2. For the model with magnetic field, we recently prove the breakdown of superconductivity in the presence of large magnetic field. This is a joint work with Tien-Tsan Shieh.
