In this talk, we make a survey of D^+_J (resp. D^+_J) operator developed by Tan, Wang, Zhou and Zhu and applications. In particular, we consider Donaldson tameness question and an almost  Kahler version of Nakai-Moishezon criterion for almostcomplex four-manifolds.
